Introduction to the Door Supervisors environment

Door Supervisors are the first line of customer service. Being a 'Bouncer' does not fit in the modern business world anymore. Dealing with conflicts is a daily routine for doormen. But it does matter and makes a big different how they do it. Unfortunately they can't avoid conflicts by simply walking away so the way they handle it is vital as it could escalate or de-escalate the problem. Identifying a potential can-turn-nasty situation early could prevent bigger problems. Our self defence system helps to do that. The body especially in a noisy environment tells more than the lips. Following our five modules you will raise your awareness, understand the nature of violence better, will be able to deal with it confidently and professionally, and if it turns physical you will be prepared to protect yourself without overreacting and worrying about consequences as RAID System follows the legal steps of reasonable force.

How we train

Before any training program is delivered we need to establish weather you require individual self defence training or team training. The training courses are conducted at our facility in Norfolk and we utilise the RAID room to provide real life scenarios of the club scene from being on the door to the bar and dance floor. The courses will be conducted in works clothing so we can identify any deficiencies you may have.

Welcome to H2H Security Self Defence!

H2H Defence has designed training courses for the security industry for over 5 years and we have trained well over 400 close protection operatives. The close protection industry is now governed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and as of 2005 you now require a license to operate within the UK. This licensed sector has National occupational Standards that have stipulated that conflict management is the prerequisite level of training to gain the SIA License. This however is not really what operatives need in the working environment as they require a higher standard of training. H2H Defence have developed the first intelligent approach to self defence within Close Protection, it develops team Personal Escort Section drills, body wrap cover drills, dynamic threat assessment etc.

H2H Defence has also designed programs for Door Supervisors (bouncers & doormen). Again these seminars a conducted over 1 to 2 days depending on what needs to be covered. The main reason why we have opened our training to these sectors, is that we have been asked by so many within the field to provide advice on litigation issues they have when they are called to court to provide evidence on a particular occurrence. The training they have is not adequate to deal with such situation that is why we have adopted the courtroom survival package. The level of violence is greater and more abundant to these sectors as drugs and alcohol are a main fuel to the situation. H2H Defence has made sure this is covered through our training.
