Welcome to Security Self Defence

With the new licensing laws for the security sector within the UK. The Security Industry Authority (SIA) from 2005 have stipulated that conflict management will be taught to all security personnel that wish to work within the licensed sectors. This means that most security operatives that are faced with potential physical situations have only been trained to de-escalate the situation. H2H Defence and specifically the founder has designed a training program over 2 days that will legally better equip the operatives of today for this void in training.

Close Protection Self Defence

Close Protection Operatives work within potentially hostile environments on a regular basis and the skills taught on the RAID Close Protection 2 day seminar develop skills such as the Body Wrap, Dynamic Risk Assessments and Incidents and Dilemmas. All of which are certified with a weapons awareness recognition and RAID Close Protection Defence Certificate, which adds to your CPD:

Door Supervisors Self Defence

Door Supervisors are the first line of customer service. Being a 'Bouncer' does not fit in the modern business world anymore. Dealing with conflict is a daily routine for doormen. But it does matter and makes a big different how they do it. Unfortunately they can't avoid conflicts by simply walking away so the way they handle it is vital as it could escalate or de-escalate the problem:

Static Guards Self Defence

Similarly to CP or Door work security guards deal with violent situations as the role of duty. They have to be very careful not only about their own personal safety but what they might cause or their actions trigger. We live in a suing time civil and human rights limit our actions. If you breach these rights that will effect your personal and work life too as employers are really sensitive about satisfying their customers and definitely about keeping their rights:

Welcome to H2H Security Self Defence!

H2H Defence has designed training courses for the security industry for over 5 years and we have trained well over 400 close protection operatives. The close protection industry is now governed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA) and as of 2005 you now require a license to operate within the UK. This licensed sector has National occupational Standards that have stipulated that conflict management is the prerequisite level of training to gain the SIA License. This however is not really what operatives need in the working environment as they require a higher standard of training. H2H Defence have developed the first intelligent approach to self defence within Close Protection, it develops team Personal Escort Section drills, body wrap cover drills, dynamic threat assessment etc.

H2H Door Supervisors and Static Guards Defence

H2H Defence has also designed programs for Door Supervisors (bouncers & doormen). Again these seminars a conducted over 1 to 2 days depending on what needs to be covered. The main reason why we have opened our training to these sectors, is that we have been asked by so many within the field to provide advice on litigation issues they have when they are called to court to provide evidence on a particular occurrence. The training they have is not adequate to deal with such situation that is why we have adopted the courtroom survival package. The level of violence is greater and more abundant to these sectors as drugs and alcohol are a main fuel to the situation. H2H Defence has made sure this is covered through our training.
